Resigned Tension
A life-sized male figure, formed from cement and subtly pigmented at the surface, rests on a raw concrete block. Bound by rope, yet held upright by discreet metal rods emerging from within, the body exists in a state of quiet tension.
The sculpture speaks of endurance rather than collapse, of balance maintained through inner structure rather than freedom. Constraint becomes form, and stillness becomes resistance.
