Compressed Memory
A male bust formed from white cement, its fractured face rebuilt with fragments of natural stone. Bound tightly with thin rope, the sculpture holds together what has already been broken. The tension does not heal the damage—it preserves it.
Memory here is not soft or nostalgic; it is dense, heavy, and compressed, forcing past fractures into the present. The work exists between loss and reconstruction, where identity is shaped not by wholeness, but by what remains held in place.
